Mobli is a visual media platform that allows you to share context according to people, places and subject-based channels,” explains Boaz Hecht, Vice President of Business Development at Mobli. Users can upload photos and videos in real-time and organize them based on these channels. Unlike Facebook, content is shared and users interact with people outside of their friends and acquaintances.

Posting content on Mobli is designed to be a very quick and easy process. When you take a photo on your mobile device or choose one from your library, the app uses the photo’s metadata to determine the location at which it was taken. You then select the channel or channels that are relevant to that photo, confirm the location, choose whether you want to share it on Facebook or Twitter, and then click publish.

Mobli garnered over one million page views in its first two weeks, and user activity on the site has run the gamut. A fashion channel might have users taking photos of dresses so that other users can help pick a favorite.
